On not getting lost before ever starting to travel

Apps to navigate airports are on the rise. We can concede that they are primarily marketing devices to entince duty-free shoppers, so the contestation may stop here. Still there is something intriguing about the purported life-simplifying message. It implicitly tells that the airport you are in right now is messy and disorienting enough as to require an app to navigate through it. Airports can be messy and disorienting places, sure enough.
